So off we went into the woods with cameras (Canon 5D Mk II, Polaraoid, a Super 8 and of course a family of iphones) armed with antlers, balloons, smoke bombs and Julianna’s storyboards we got to shooting. We woke at 5am to the dawn chorus and stood on the frosty ground whilst barn owls swooped, deers dove and rabbits lept. A watchful eye from Kerensa made sure things stayed appropriately ethereal whilst I became the moss-squad-stop-motion boss. Making sure we got all the shots we needed we shot hours of footage and will be looking at a first edit this week. The first weekend of summer and a perfect way to spend it all washed down with a few glasses of wine and a cosy movie to finish. There’s so much to do out there under that sky of ours.
